Less than two months to go now until the Castle Combe Rowathlon on August 5th.

Round 2 will feature the classic distance rowathlon of 3k Concept 2 row, 20k bike and 3k run, on the Castle Combe Race Circuit. With three events still to race and three counting towards the series rankings, there's everything to play for in 2007.

After Castle Combe it's Reading on September 1st and then the ‘Series Finale’ will take place at the new Dorney Lake venue on September 30th (4k row, 30k bike, 7.5k run), after which one lucky age group champion will walk away with a brand spanking new Concept 2 Model E rower.

Four days to go until the fast and furious racing at the Palmer Park Athletics Stadium and Cycle Circuit.

The Super-Sprint Rowathlon is a 2.5k row, 7k bike (14 laps of cycle track) and 2.8k run (7 laps of athletics track) course and the Super-Sprint Duathlon in the afternoon is 2.8k, 7k, 2.8k.

Very manageable distances for beginners on the traffic-free course and it's proper head-down, high-octane racing for the speedsters.

More info and online entry closing soon at www.dbmax.co.uk/readingrowathlon.htm.
