Continental GP Four Season tyres

Ok, a really daft question coming.

I have bought a pair of the above said tyres.

Does anyone know which way round they are supposed to be put on ?

For example if looking at the bike front on, should the small teardrop shaped indentations be pointing downwards or upwards?

As always, any help would be much appreciated.

If my road bike wasnt at my dads on the other side of the country I would show you a photo! If you can wait until next weekend when I go pick it up ill send you some pics!!! But in the meantime, they fit similar to a car tyre where the lines would aid water dispersal! if that helps....
