BABY WHINES CUT COSTS..

Following a recent article in 220 which stated that eating 100g of jelly babies an hour before a race does the world of good and give the equivalent carbs (although simple) to a bowl of pasta… I tried this out… they are great and So so tasty too…



Now I have been looking at other sweets for similar benefit and found what I think might be perfect… we buy sport gells for £1.10/60g, these little gems cost 40p for 52g…. Wine gums…. 70% carbs, 7% protein handy packaging.. easy bite size chunks



So for you nutritional wiz’s out there am I missing something – The only thing is the high sugar content perhaps but then we want fast energy anyway don’t we? The bit of protein sound good or the longer distance races too..
