Training after injury

Have been training all winter, building endurance and started the High intensity HR training program in the March 220 issue.



I have had to stop everything due to shoulder injury and most likely unable to train properly for 6-8 weeks.



I am not sure how quickly I can work my way up back to high intensity HR program I was doing ?



How far does a 6-8 week lay off set you back?



Wondering if anyone has come back from a similar lay off and how they got back to full training while avoiding over training too soon?
