Wireless over wired turbo trainers?

I am seriously looking at buying an Elite Wireless Digital Fluid Turbo-Trainer over the Tacx Flow trainer online. Pricing is about the same.
Has anyone got one of these and give me some idea about how easy it is to set up/use or can anyone give me any pointers as to comparing the two. Is no wires a real bonus in terms of regular use ?
I am training for Ironman events next year, having done many olympic and sprint events but not really trained in the winter on a turbo trainer.
You may well say take the plunge but I thought I would ask and get some more real feedback.
