Numb Feet

I have recently (last few weeks) started to get numb feet (arch) while out running, this normally starts to develop after a few miles and last until I stop.



I dont think it is the shoes, I have had them for about a year and never experienced this problem before. I wear elastic laces in them too, so I dont think they are done up to tight.



Does anyone experience similar problems and/or any suggestions?

I don't know how many miles you run in a year. But when I hear you say you have your shoes for a year already, then maybe its time for new ones. Maybe this is a possible cause???

When I say I have had them a year it is closer to 8/9 months (I like rounding up). And for the first couple of months I had to pairs of running shoes. So a rough estimate as to miles is probably 250 miles?

The mileage can't be the problem then. Maybe someone else on the forum has had similar problems, maybe they can help?
