Another training bible question!


I know there has been lots of questions relating to building your plan using the training bible book but I don't seem to have found anyone with a similar issue? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

So I think I have done pretty well so far, but maybe I have just missed some vital points which hopefully someone can help with. I have my annual training hours and I have plotted my A races and thus have my phases. I start building base 1 on w/e 4th Jan, and I'm currently in my prep phase. Great, now what?!?!

My main questions are;

During base 1, 2 & 3, am I looking to do all exercise in a heart rate zone? Same applies to all other phases.

Exercises, what do I do? There are some examples in the back of the book but hardly any relate to my limiter which is cycling.

Strength training, the book explains different phases of strength training but gives one set of exercises, so do I do that set but at different intensities?

I'm sure I will think of more once i've signed off, but that will do for now!
