Carbon "effect" - seeking approval please!

in General Chat
Hi All,
What's the general consensus on carbon "effect" ?
It's just that I'm sat at home after an op and can't train for a few weeks so went for a bit of online retail therapy and landed myself a carbon "effect" pointy hat.

P.S. Shall I go and hide yet?

Red satin straps do look divine.....I just hope they match some part of you or the bike to redeem yourself.
Aero helmet means you can skip a few training sessions and still post a similar time - very astute.

I didn't say it was a bad thing in fact I am tempted myself as those straps would go with my bright flurescent yellow rimmed glasses
