Speed Concept 7 - pedals and wheels?

Sooooooooooooooo excited!!!
Go for a bike fit and to pick up SC 7 today....
Need to decide on pedals. Currently have bog standard shimano road pedals on my roadie.
Debating between i-clic and shimano... May be getting new shoes too...
Also wondering about upgrading the wheels - would swap the ssr's it comes with on to my road bike (can I?) and then put something better on...
All suggestions most welcome.
