Saddle Issues & Solutions Anyone?

I've been through a number of saddles.  Looking for a solution for the Perineum and man parts on the saddle.  Sit area is ok, but just can't seem to end ongoing pain from long rides.  Open to advise if anyone has some thoughts...?

I had similar problems on my factory fit one but came across Specialized Toupe saddles, they come in 3 widths. My LBS has this thing for measuring the distance between your sit bones (not at all invasive or embarrassing) from which they recommended a width.

Have used one for several years now and never have problems whatever the ride length - up to 8 hours. The saddles is minimalist with basically a vinyl cover over a carbon fibre shell but is actually very comfortable. A case of good design.

I'm sure they are still around. Hope this helps

have you tried any of the cut-away saddles, with holes for the squidgy bits, or the cut-off nose ones like adamo?

  • I use BIOFLEX CARBON, on recommendation from the LBS. Love it.
