Talkback: InfoCrank power meter – first look

Brags about being "the most accurate power meter" are generally quite hollow. Assuming readings are consistent you can set zones, targets and measure performance gains.

Given the number of other variables affecting absolute speed (e.g. aero, bike inefficiencies, road surface, road gradient, weight) it seems that consistency is far more important than accuracy.

If you are forking out for two different meters to go on separate bikes and give consistent results then I can see how this level of accuracy could have a benefit, but if switching between bikes is that important to you a hub or pedal based solution seems a far simpler (and cheaper) answer than spend £2,500 on two sets of these.
