How to Have Fund during and Ironman

Before a race I always plan some fun things to do with my friends during the race, or to other people if I don't catch anyone for a while after my usual leisurely swim. One of my favourites is to start talking to someone about bacon sandwiches... What do you all do to pass the hours and have some fun during and Ironman.
