I've been looking through the BTF regs for swimming, T1 and General rules. I was wondering if you'd be allowed to put rocktape (other KT tapes are available) around the ball of you foot and from the heel pad up the achiles.
For two reasons
1. A bit more grip when running from pool/water to T1
2. A little less direct friction between damp/talc'd skin and you runners/bike shoes.
Probably not without a doctors letter. Bare feet during swim & generally bare legs during a pool swim.
I have worn rocktape like this at most tris I have done, never had any comments from the race ref.
Does it work/help?
