I raced the oly on Sunday with at least one other from this parish. It was my first oly for 5years and despite the weather (typically south walian!) it was a terrific race. The closed roads were a real delight, if a bit more technically demanding in the wet conditions, and the run out along the barrage was great.
I can imagine this becoming a genuinely 'big' event - the location is superb and the course is geared to fast times. One of the things that might stop it from growing too large is the relatively short bike loop - I was in the later waves and it was very busy with bikes.
