I aim to pick a road bike for triathlon next year. Wanted to get your views on Cannondale SuperSix EVO Ultegra bike. While I know that a lot if triathletes are looking at purchasing a TT bike, is the model i mentioned above suitable for training and with aero bars, be used for triathlons? I am getting a used bike for just under $1500 whereas if i import a new TT bike from Canada, FELT B14 TT bike would cost me $1500 too

    The SuperSix is quality bike no doubt and Ultegra is a great groupset.

    It can definitely be used for triathlons with some clip ons. As with all bikes a fit is likely to be very helpful, but especially when adding clip ons as the number of variables and the considerations for making a road bike triathlon friendly increase.

    Its up to you. As it sounds like you don't have a road bike yet and are looking to get in to triathlon then something like the SuperSix may be a better bet. I have done three seasons of tri's on a Bianchi with clip ons and am now electing to get a TT bike but its by no means essential.
