Blenheim Triathlon - can't make the day

So, bad news for me. Due to a shoulder injury (tendinitis and bursitis) I am forfeiting my place at Blenheim. I am registered for the Sprint (male 40-44) on Sunday June 5th 12:50pm.
I have received the kit (wristband, bike stickers, and number tag).

I'd like to recoup some of my registration costs, if anyone wants to buy my place from me, please ping me privately.
Note: In the T&C's it says that picture id is needed on the day, I haven't done this tri before so don't know if it is enforced.

    last year a friend raced instead of someone else and he didnt take id....
    easeily forgotten on race morning

    I'm going to sound like a killjoy, but if you race in somebody else's place, you will not be covered by the event insurance in the event of a crash or collision, and you could jeopardise the organisers' chances of running the event again if they are found to have let you race as somebody else, or fail to check your id before racing.
    Wouldn't it be better to contact the organisers and try to get a transfer, or ask them to make the place available for a late entry?
