Hi, I am selling my 2006 Scott Plasma Pro Time Trial/Triathlon bike as a result of facing the reality of life with 2 small children. The bike has been used 3 times and has been stored in bubble wrap and bike bag for the duration. It is therefore in as new condition.
Spec: 54cm Scott CR1 Plasma True Carbon Frame ( I am just just over 6ft tall).
Shimano Ultegra 20 speed front and rear
Shimano front and rear brakes.
Mavic Ksyrium Elite wheels with Conti 4000 Grand Prix 700 tyres.
Profile T Wing handlebars
Profile Carbon Stryke aerobars
Hammer OS stem
Fizik Arione Tri Saddle
The bike weighs in at 8.39kg (18.5lbs) w/o pedals.
During a 220 Test, 220 said 'There are few frames that compare with this, even at stratospheric level. Its tight build and ultralight weight mean insane speed and responsiveness through either pedals or handling...The Scott is an uncompromising peice of performance kit.'
The bike retailed at £2399.00 in 2006 and the 2011 models with similar spec are going for £2900.00. I am open to offers above £1500.00. I live and work in the Oxfordshire area and can send photos if you are interested.
