Talkback: Overcoming asthma as a triathlete

I have exercised induced asthma. I knew as a child I had asthma, but didn't understand it. Nor did any coaches who about killed me making me run as fast as I could for long distances. As an adult I learned about the exercised induced asthma. I have an inhaler, but I rarely use it. I do wear a mask over my mouth and nose in temps under 60 degrees. If Im riding my bike in hills, it really kills me. Its tough because my Dr told me not to sign up for any marathons, but Im training for my 4th half marathon. I run slow like 13-15mins per mile, but Im running and competing.
