advice pls. Investment road bike for woman newbie

new to tri and looking to buy my first serious road bike. I'd rather invest more money  now to make the right decision and pay more to get a bike that will be an investment to see me through to seasoned triathlete than spend less but it to be a poor and short term choice.   But as a new it I'm baffled by the jargon...  Women specific bike?  Aero?  Carbon?  Chain set?  Disc ?  I do know that I'd like as light as possible. To help offset my current lack of ability as I try to improve. I've seen and fallen for the ads for the canyon aeroad cf slx 6.0. But it's a lot of money if I don't know what to look for.  Help!
