Run/Walk Strategy

I've recently started a Run/Walk strategy, due to an ongoing/recurring injury. Initially I've struggled with the mental side of this, but as I'm getting more miles under my belt I've found that my times are comparable so I'm starting to feel more at ease with it. I have been using a 4 min run/1 min walk strategy, it's easier for my little brain to work out The big test is next weekend and the Allerthorpe Standard, which will be my first event doing this...must stick to the game plan!
