Contact lens wearer

My 1st Tri is next Sunday!  I don't wear my contact lenses for swimming as am worried about goggles slipping and lenses floating away (!), but I would like to wear them for the bike ride and run.  I could put them in at T1, but what do other cl wearers do?  Any advice welcome.

Still em in prior to event and wear them for duration - no probs!

Whole race for me too. Use disposables. Have had goggles knocked off but not lost a lens yet.

Even if you lost one can still manage with one as your brain will only use the signal from the eye in focus. Doing the OMM I will use only one so that I can map read and also focus on distance

i used to swim "blind" the put my glasses on in T1 - avoids the contacts altogether.

I can vouch for wearing disposable contacts for the whole race. 3 years and no problems.
