Question about going from sprint to olympic


Having done my first sprint tri at Blenheim, I'm thinking about doing the olympic distance in London. Couple of questions:

1. Is the remaining training time likely to be sufficient? (My times for Blenheim were 15:54/40:44/29:08, 1:34:22 total. The swim and run went badly compared to expectations so I would hope to do better on those, esp the swim.)

2. The bike–run transition was pretty tough. I know I'd need to do more brick sessions. But I also wondered what suggestions people have for simple upgrades to the bike to make the run better. It's a cheap (£160 from eBay) road bike, using running shoes in clips at the moment.
