How old is your Garmin HR?

Hi, I'm on my 2nd Garmin (a 920) and its starting to play up. HR inconsistent, first 5 miles of any ride I burn 6000calories and elevation always needs correcting. I switched to Garmin after 4 polar devies and they do seem to last longer and give less problems. As with most items these days, things seem to have an inbuilt life expectancy, so I was wondering how long others tended to keep their device before getting a new one.

As for my usage, I wear it all the time, Swim pool and open water (around 400k/year), cycle (4500km) and run (1400km). So I accept it's getting a fair bit of use and after 4years, I probably shouldn't be surprised its not 100% any more
