Swim alternatives during COVID-19

Hey! I???m wondering if anyone could help me out. I???m doing my first tri this year and swimming is definitely my weak area. I know that getting in the water is the best way to improve my swim but all the pools are closed due to COVID-19 and it???s still dangerously cold to swim in open water where I live. Is there anything I could focus on in the gym that would at least help strengthen my swim? (Front crawl and breast stroke are what I plan on switching between on race day) Thanks in advance!

You can always just focus on your bike and your run at this moment and do a swim training camp whenever the water will be warm enough or when the pools will be open. This training camp would consist of many swimming sessions over maybe 4-5 weeks where you will slack off on biking and running (just maintaining with 2 workouts a week maybe). That could be a great alternative and by swimming on consecutive days you might get even better improvement! Anyways.. That's my point of view.

Also, I recommend only front crawl on race day and as a second option back crawl.
