Hi from a newbie!
Evening everyone. Thought I'd introduce myself before spending some time browsing the forums!
After 2 years of waiting, hopefully next week I'll be having ankle surgery and after the initial recovery, I decided to challenge myself to lose 50lbs and complete a triathlon.
Maybe foolishly I've signed up for the York Sprint & Ellesmere Olympic next year and my training plan is to do swimming until December, then add running by starting couch to 5k in January, add in cycling in March, then do some brick sessions in May/June in time for the sprint and build up open water swimming in time for September!
Fingers crossed the plan works out!
