First post and this may already be answered somewhere so apologies if it is.
I am planning to follow Don Finks plan for my first Ironman this year. My question is regarding the long sessions. I tend to be out of the house for 13-14 hours 4 days/week for work but do have the weekend and a midweek day off.
Do the long sessions have to be sat & sun or is it reasonable to do one midweek and the other at the weekend with one day at the weekend off/shorter to allow for some quality family time?
