Have you got your computer mounted on your aerobars there nivagh? If so how have you got it attached, and does it get in the way at all when you're going aero?
The wheels are Spinergy Rev Xs (tubs); my cycle computer is fastened to my left hand aero bar with two zip ties, since I can't get it on my bullhorn and it was annoying me having it at 90 degrees on the aero bar. It wobbles a bit but easier to read at a glance now. I thought about fastening it to a piece of hosepipe fastened in turn between the aero bars, but I havent' get round to that yet.
It's not carbon or bling and is in fact a little old skool with a steel frame but after her spending two years at my brother's house I'm finally reunited with my bike. Did a 40k run a recently and loved it [:)]
YAY!!! Finally picked up my Scott Plasma 10 on weds evening and took her out thurs morning, Was my first time in aero position so took some getting used to but what a difference!.After a few attempts im loving it,the cushioning from the carbon, the speed!, and the comfort.I LOVE IT!!!. Andre, Invest, You defo will not regret it.Admittedly i havent rode another tri bike so i have no comparison but im chuffed with it.
Here's something truly vintage, that's just fallen out of the temporal vortex. This is yours truly doing his first ever 25 mile TT, back in July 1980. The frame is a Bob Jackson. There was a massive 6 sprockets at the back. Can't remember much else about it. The bike is long gone, as are the Southampton Wheelers, who's event it was. Somewhere on the A34, I think.
I had contemplated photoshopping it out. Only to preserve the sensibilities of the viewers, of course. I was but a callow youth of 15 [:)].
This was the days before Lycra, Helmets, and the Aero position. (IIRC, an hour on the drops was just too uncomfy for me, so just rode round in the sit-up-and-beg position. I was really a runner, not a cyclist!).
The jersey is the club strip of the Clevedon and District Road Club - still going!
Very good TommiTri! Does that mean that you can now cycle faster than you can run (that's supposed to be a compliment with regards to your running prowess, BTW!)
sorry been ill for a while, but back in form and ready for anything, not mine but does anyone remember hitchinson bikes, this one was beautifuly restores by young Gage, 16, who came second in the t.t. on a single speed, restored 1970's clasic.
For a while now I have resisted the temptation to view this thread but something made me do it...OMG...porntastic!!! I have now have SERIOUS 'bike' envy!!!![8|]
However have realised that looking at some of these 'double DDs' my little 'b' is the reason I am so slow...well that's my excuse!! Still he's my litte 'b' and I am rather fond of him now, even when the wheel gets stuck on the brake at regular intervals!! [&:]

All this nonsense about red...
nude carbon is the way forward!
BTW The black stripes on my rather monocolour bike are naked carbon showing off the rather nice OCLV carbon frame [:D]

All I've done is add tribars and change the seat - which I already had.
