Hi there Coney,
Hope the training is going well. I booked into the Comfort Hotel Roosevelt. Its pretty close to the start - five minutes walk and also its reported as quiet. I think from reading other threads that noise is sometimes a problem for competitors - particularly on the saturday night. I booked in for 5 nights as I want to arrive on the friday to get the lie of the land and at least make a gesture at getting used to the weather.
I looked at the other options that were recommended at the entry but this seems to be the most reasonable 3 star - the other 4 stars are pretty pricey.
