Tri Apparel

Depends how well the one piece fits!

Mine fits perfectly, so perfectly its pornographic! hehe

I guess it all depends on whether you want to change stuff in transition, cos then i guess a 2 piece would be better, I dont change anything, so find a one piece perfect.

    Hello All,

Just wanted to get your opinions on a 1-piece or a 2-piece Triathlon wear...... which do you prefer?

personally I think 2-piece suits are more practical.

Definitely a one piece. The above thread covers the same topic and it was a hands down win to 1 pieces - so much more comfortable and practical

    ahh yes... thanks, very helpful.

I think im going to invest in a 1-piece and a 2-piece just have a go with both.

for me, i have decent legs, but a big gut, so i prefer a 2-pice suit so that everything is hidden to protect the public![:D]

Referring to the other thread, when I mentioned the speedos, I watched the Malaysian IM on ESPN last weekend and was amazed that the winner Faris Al-Sultan did the bike and run in Speedos and a tri top. I have to admit it was probably a bit warmer than the UK but 180km in speedos I know that 20-40km on a bike in speedos is more than enough.

For the record my preference is

2 piece mainly to allow for pit stops - I generally now only do HIM and IM so this comes into play

Speedos and tri top for sprints, aquathlons etc - still no shame here!
