TENDONITIS OF THE SHOULDER

Hi Everyone
Has anyone in this big world of tri suffered from tendenitis of the shoulder, as i have been informed that this is what it is. I am resting the shoulder at the moment which means no swimming for TWO weeks, if anyone has had the same have they had any problems after treatmant, as the only other option is a steroid injection.
Apart from that the training is going well as i can step up the running and biking but i miss the swim and sauna after a long run.
