So i've started reading Going Long by Joe Friel and its just not motivating me like Beironfit did. It seems very technical as opposed to Beironfit which put things simply and made you want to go out train for ironman (well it did for me).

My first day yesterday when I just could not be bothered to train, no rest day scheduled, but could not get up for any training, did have a good hard Easter training and not eating particularly healthy with it.

Planned a swim this morning but could not be bothered to get out of bed, one good thing from the Going Long book is that he says if you feel tired stay in bed (I took his word this morning).

Anyway swam in my lunch hour and off to gym for some weights after work.

Armstrong_Jack read your calorie counting post, seems at that height, weight and %BF your doing well.

I too am looking at a 6 hour approx bike (all being good) but wont get a chance to go to Bolton beforehand. Is that 5 min/km run pace your zone 2 running pace?
