Body fat percentage is about 16.5% now. At least I'm not getting any fatter, which is interesting. Must have taught the body to have a new natural weight of 12st 5lbs.

Managed to go out on the Bike for the first time since April. Not sure if the knee is worse now, or just different.

    73.0kg today

No alcohol and avoiding carbs. Skinnier = Faster

Hmmmm thought this would be the case., but as I'm faster now I've put on weight I don't think my lack of fat/muscle helped me at all...my poor body needed somewhere to store that extra energy required!!! Infact I found that upping my running distance to from 5k to 10k really built up extra muscle too and I had calf muscles to rival any man (so my delightful work colleagues informed me[&:]) oh and I got my bum back!!!! [:D][:D]

How refreshing though to see the male species discuss the scales with such vigour!! [;)]

Looking forward to my curry tonight!!

    20/04/09 - 94.1 kg

    26/05/09 - 94.2 kg

Um, not moving towards the 90kg that I thought I could get! However, did go see a sports nutritionist that we have at work and we tore my eating habits apart. Apparently, even doing 10 - 14 hours training a week doesn't mean you can eat shed loads of carbs. Who knew!!!

So, please remember. One plate! One small (suppose it's average but looks small) portion. 50% Carbs, 25% protein and 25% vegetables!

B***er! This isn't right. Started to get back into some training now... I think the stable weight was just muscle disappearing at the same rate that fat was being gained... and I've just built up a bit of muscle or something. No, I'm kidding myself. Ate for 6 all last week. And too much beer. M-u-s-t G-e-t A G-r-i-p.

Hmm.. Time for an Ice Cream!

umm icecream indeed...my favourite is ben & jerry phish food....just can't stop! enough i digress....

well I wouldn't normally write on this thread cause scales and i just don't see eye to eye... but i measured myself for the first time in around 6 months and i've lost 6.5kg or 1 stone - ok that might not be much for you guys but for me....wooo hooo [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

it's probably the lightest i've ever been since high school (and that's too far back to remember) so am very chuffed...best thing is I can still eat that b&j....

oh damn....thinking about icecream again....here comes the weight gain....[;)]

Missed Monday's weigh in.. always a bit lower mid week. Reigning in some of the exercises. Bye-bye beer (except for last night). More importantly, getting a few bike rides in, plus some rowing after the training hiatus.

As I officially can't run ever again until I have my knee operation, I'll be hitting the bike as much as possible until I go under the knife.

On a body image related note, when to Swim Therapy yesterday - so was videoed from angles and in positions never before seen. Effectively naked. And, while I didn't look great - I didn't look as bad as I thought I did. Apart from the bald patch. Which is far worse. Interesting experience though!
