Cycleops indoor Cyclepro query

has anyone got or has anyone used a Cycleops Pro 300PT indoor trainer? I am thinking about investing in one but am worried it will be too 'gimmiky' and not like riding a real bike. I hate stationary bikes in the gym for that reason. Can anyone advise?
