Leeds open water training

Morning all I hope you've had an event filled wkend.



I'd like to know if anyone knows of any open water events aroound the Leeds area that I could get involved in please. I've got about 40 days till my first open water event and would like to give it ago before hand.

    Leeds Bradford Tri club had some open water swim sessions last year i believe, somewhere Otley way.I'm not a member and their website doesnt mention any openwater training but i'd given them a try.

    Joining www.lbt.org.uk gives you membership of Otley Sailing club too (well, in some form - enough to swim). This means that you can use the Otley Sailing club water. The first session is today!! (12/5/2009). And it looks to be a fine day. It's all subject to water testing, and it is members only..
