Short Handlebar stem required 31.8mm bars !!

Hello,

just fitted some Tri-bars to my trusty road bike ready for the Tri Season. The only problem is the 100mm stem fitted at the moment is just a tad to long, causing me to stretch a bit to far. I've checked Ebay and rang a few local cycle shops but with no Joy.

I'm looking idealy for a 50mm, 60mm as a last resort

Does anyone out there know where I could find one? or have one knocking about they want to get shot of ?

I have a short one I took off my bike to switch for a longer one. I think it might be a 70mm, but it's worth me checking. Can you remind me where I should measure - is it centre to centre?
