220 Dorney Lake evening series


Anyone doing this tomorrow,



Hoping the weather is going to clear up.



Havent been to Dorney Lake before, whats the best way to get to the lake from the train station? Bearing in mind that i will have my bike with me? Cyle? Taxi?

    If you can cycle it, it'll only take 10 minutes or so.



    If you go over Eton Bridge and through Eton High Street You'll come to some traffic lights where there is a left turn to Eton Wick. turn down there and head along Eton Wick Road for about 2 miles through Eton Wick over a cattle grid. You'll then be on a road with fields either side. Go across the next cattle grid. There is a left turn about half a mile which you take, and the entrance to the lake is just in front of you before the road bends round to the right. You'll probably see loads of cars with bikes on at this point. [;)]



    If in doubt, there are loads of taxis out front of the station.
