Not sure about Hawaii but this years Ironman UK will be on Channel 4 at 7.30 AM Saturday 18th Oct.

  • Missed it!!!

    Bum.

I wish CH4 would do a listing somewhere of upcoming coverage.

I actually did a search last week and didn't even find a reference to the UK Ironman.

Maybe 220 could do a section each month, letting us know of media coverage?

GFH - I think they are repeating it wednesday/thursday morning.

If you check early morning listings each week for CH4 and CH5 you'll pick these up - think between them they have 3/4 shows this week.

I don't know about you guys but I have watched that highlights video that Gharv has posted about a million times, i love it, it makes me want to get out and train! shame my backs screwed, but when its ok i'm going to trainer harder (but not stupider) than ever!

also i love the bit where chrissie is bobbing her head as if to the music! its so great to see her smiling when she competes, it shows how she is not only putting so much effort in but also enjoying herself.

I saw a vid the other day of an interview with her, when asked about why she rode a P2C rather than the P3 or now even P4, she said it was what she felt best on, and it fitted her. Which I think is a huge thumbs up for the concept of finding which bike fits you best, rather than going for the most expensive! plus i now have a P2C so I'm happy!
