Do not, under any circumstances, let your front wheel touch any white (or any other colour) painted lines on the roads in wet conditions.

Look out for the next really useful (and probably very obvious) tip same time, same place, tomorrow.

    Tractor droppings. Those nice fresh mounds of tyre-print tractor mud.

    When you're doing 50kph+ down a hill and you see tractor droppings it DOES mean that there is a 15kph tractor around the next corner. He is towing a bit of farming equipment that, for reasons only known to farmers, has about 1000 three meter long knives sticking out of the back.

    And your brakes don't work when you'e on tractor droppings....
