Bike Tagging

I can't remember who it was who got their bike stolen and posted the story on here but it got me wondering.

Read this in the Cycling Plus and thought about it, but has anyone any experience or knowledge of these or something similar:

My mountain bikes and hybrid are protected using this. It's part of the Marin care package. Ram it in the seat tube, and it'll never come out.

Never had to test it though, and fingers crossed I never will
