Hi all,
I have got a few days off mid-July and am looking to head to the alps to tick off a few cols (Alpes D'Huez, Mt Ventoux etc). I'm sure there are many well seasoned cyclists of the alps amoungst the 220 crew..
Was just wondering how people have got out there? Is eurostar than TGV best? Driving? Even fyling??
Obviously I'll need to take my bike! I have also noted that the TDF Avoriaz stage is on when I'm planning to go and would love to watch although I know that's further north than fore-mentioned climbs.
Has anyone got any good suggestions on travel for cost, speed and ease!!?
Thanks in advance,
Guy
