Wheel choice?

Ok so i decided to build my bike now i think

using a mixture of parts from my Bianchi and new parts.

the Frame choice I think is going to be be Condor Squadra EM2

The Wheel Options

Mavic Ksyrium Elites £440
Mavic Kysyrium Elite SL £640

Just wondering if there is any need of someone like me just starting spending the extra for the sl's?
could i spend the extra £200 better else where?

Well the Condor certainly got the thumbs up here:

Sorry I am going to be one of those annoying people who spin a curve ... you may want to look at the American Classic Aero 420 3s at £499 (1530 gr) which are very highly rated on this forum.

Or - how about a set of handbuilt for £350?

    Full range here from £260 - £571

sorry blaze - I see Shadowone1 has also jumped in to add to 'the voices in your head'

Planet X doing a sale of their 50 section tubs at £399 and Fuerte Bici have some 38 section carbon clinchers at £425 http://fuertebici.com/site/?p=298
38 tubs are £399 - they are having a problem with supply but if you can wait a few weeks seem to get good reports on the forums.

No your not going mad...he's just set the web-site up.

Drop him an email and he'll get back to you or give him a call.

Really depends on what you want. But they are good prices.....

Yip.... I bought the TT of him as well.

Its on this forum somewhere...... At the time I couldn't afford the wheels so I bought the bike minus the wheels then saved my nuts off to buy the sparkly deep section wheels. Can't wait to see what it looks like with them on but I know one thing I'll only be taking the bike out with the deep section wheels on when its not bloody windy!!
