Turbo Tyres

I have been using my turbo trainer a fair bit over the last few weeks. The back tyre has gradually worn down, leaving tiny remnants of rubber sprinkled over the floor (my other half is going spare!!!). Is there a specific tyre for use on a turbo trainer that doesn't wear as quickly as a normal tyre, and if so can anyone advise me where to get one?

    yes, continental home trainer tyre, about £20 from wiggle I do believe, an excellent purchase, not only will it not wear like your normal tyre it should also be a lot quieter!

    Agree with Tommi i have the continental and has been great so far.



    My normal tyre got eaten.



    You will still find a bit of orange from the tyre as it settles in though.
