Cycle shoes off T2

I know poeple have spoken about the whole cycle shoe on feet or on bike in T1 before but I thought it worthwhile mentioning what happened to me at Blenheim coming into T2. I had planned to take my feet out of the cycle shoes and leave the shoes on the bike, however ..... my allez elite has some sort of safety mechanism whereby if it feels force pedalling backwards then it activates the rear brake (please someone correct me as this probably isnt correct). I wouldnt explain it as a pedal back brake like old BMXs had but all of a sudden while fiddling with my tri shoe my rear wheel began to skid. Therefore I entered T2 with one shoe on and one shoe off. Good luck to everyone at the London Tri ... looks like its gonna be a wet one! (Sat 3pm wave)
