Note to self - do not go to the Big Chill Festival 6 weeks before your first OD. Get smashed for 4 days...Then do no training for 12 days
Ride/Run this morning was v hard work!! At least i'm back on it!!
V-festival this weekend ... I'm doing a 3km swim tomorrow to mitigate against the V-damage the weekend will bring.

I went to BoomTown Fair festival weekend before last, didn't do any training for a week. Wish I adn't hit it so hard for 3 full days, certainly paid for it. Had a great time though
Back on the training now though.
Its amazing just how much a festival can knock you back - I feel your pain! Cider isn't the best training drink
U2 at the weekend..followed by 10 days in majorca....then have 2 weeks to my 2nd ever sprint...believe the mental break will do more than pounding along....my training plan anyway
