Wetsuit wear

Wet suit wear. Is there anyone else out there who has had stubble erosion problems with their wetsuit? Both shouder areas on my 1 yr old v1 have worn through!

    I don't have this problem, but I can see how it would happen. I always shave before I swim: if I don't I rub the skin off my shoulders, particularly my right side if I get over-tired, lose form and go to unilateral breathing.

    I get slight wear around my neck from stubble. However, I never shave just before an event, as I find newly shaved skin rubs worse than one or two days growth. The amount of rub will be reduced if you smother your neck in bodyglide or the like.
