1st Tri Bike

Hey guys,

I bought the Planet x stealth tri bike last week and its sweet!

I have the S bend tri bars. They are straight out, as in they don't bend towards the sky like my tri bars on my road bike. Finding it hard to get use to at the moment, but then again I have only been on it twice, and Im still adjusting heights and lengths etc..

Should i be worried or will I just get used to it.. Anyone else got the stealth or experience this with first tri bike.

First go out on my tri bike almost pooped myself and almost ran off onto a grass verge. Just like riding a bike for the first time really, wobble wobble, oh heck (hardly anybody said f###k in those days) ..... wheee this is fun.

I don't have a planet X bike, but I do have the stealth s-bend bars.

I would say don't worry, you'll get used to them. I started with some cinelli bolt on bars that joined in the middle and pointed upwards, before moving onto Profile design T2+ S-bends then the planet X.

The only other piece of info I would offer is that it's important to get the bars to the right length so that the bend is in the right place for your comfort - until I got my bars sorted my wrists were uncomfortable. You may need to tri *both* ends...
