Totally agree that cyclists should be treated the same. Running a red light,if you can't give them points for their licence you hit them with a stonking big fine. i pod no problem,you are not going to stop deaf people from riding a bike!!
Slightly off topic - well completely off topic really I suppose - I saw a motorcyclist at a Mway service station and he thought he looked really cool in his matching leathers and bike strip. Only prob was it was urban camouflage and even driving at 10 mph on a sunny day both he and his bike blended in very nicely with the tarmac
