Can anyone recommend some descent road tyres? I bought a bike second hand and the tyres are a little worse for wear. I figure it's worth paying out for a descent pair.

Gatorskins are awesome. Im not tempting fate but in the year ive had them on Ive had no issues at all.

I have some tyres for sale, though they don't fall into the "tough and durable" category - they're clinchers for racing.

Pair of Vittoria Rubino Pro tyres (folding, clincher, black) - 700 x 20 and 200 x 23, have been ridden for approximately 40km only. now surplus to requirements as I'm now racing on tubs. These are £22 each new from Chainreactioncycles; £35 for both, including postage.
