Shameless plug here. Last year I ran some very successful mountain training days for these triathlons. I'm a Mountaineering Instructor by trade, live in the Lakes & do the odd triathlon or 2 - and if there's interest will run the same days next year. Covers the triathlons routes and a bit about mountain navigation so that at least you can find your own way around the hills if the weather turns naff and no one else is in sight.
