Recommended standard triathlon with family day entertainment

Hello everyone. I've just joined the forum today.

I competed in several events last year and have got the bug! My favourite event last year was the Ripon standard triathlon, great race and we all camped on the racecourse with our families who had a great time with all the entertainment (bouncy castles, swings, slides,etc)....even a bar and disco later on!

I would like to ask the more experienced people here if they could recommend similar events for this year as I cannot make the Ripon event due to work?

    Ripon was a great race last year apart from the early rain and the smell from the lake - water was too low but the sun came out and was nice and warm!

    Depends on where you want to travel to . There are loads of races that are similar to ripon in terms of the event quality but doesn't have the massive set-up.

    Try Chase Race at Barton Marina - very well organised. In fact brilliantly organised. Unfort for you the DEVA triathlon is on the same date at Ripon as I'm torn between the two.

    Where do you want to travel, restrictions on costs?
